If there is a headphone socket on your cassette player then its easy. You will need a cable with a stereo jack plug .mm at each end. You will also need a recording programme, I use audiograbber which is a free download. Then plug the cable into the headphone socket on the tape, and the line in socket behind your computer. Start Audograbber and under file select line in sampling. Start off with the tape volume fairly low and adjust till the recording levels are OK just to test. Then simply record to your computer. If you wish to convert to MP you will need an encoder, the instructions for downloading this are in Audiograbber. Hope this helps

And Ive been using the same rechargable batteries for about a year and they are still working great. If there isnt a light then it takes about hours to fully charge. And no they will not explode. I had the same issue when I got my new puter and had to move all my songs over. When I was st playing them it was ok, unless I changed the song title or artist name somehow. When it asks if you would like to locate it, it should give you the option of clicking quotyesquot, if it does than click on that.brOtherwise, click on start, and select the folder titles quotmy musicquot, and scroll through until you find the song and readd it to your library that way, you dont need to readd them to the puter.

use a USB cord to plug the iPod into the computer. This will automatically launch iTunes, and there will be an iPod section it will go there automatically also. I plugged my ipod into my laptop so I could charge it a while ago but I already had itunes running and when I plugged it in some thing about scanning my ipod for faults or something came up but I clicked cancel instead. hrmmm... i have kinda the same problem but the iPod i have doesnt charge from the ipod charger and it gets really hot. But I was able to put it into disk mode and charge it from there. But your problem could be the Ipod itself. try to either charging it with the computer USB cord, or change your outlet that you use. But there could also be the possibility that there is alot of data in it so there would be more energy used, however if thats the case, you cant do anything about that but delete and free up space on your ipod. I have had experience with both. The iPod touch, hands down. It does everything the phone does except calls and camera. Plus the iPhone is a lot bulkier and the screen is not as wide. the iPhone is heavy in comparison to the ipod touch too. plus of the apps work on the ipod anyway.
