Ipod charging help?

Ipod charging help?
i have a gig video ipod, black. ive been using it for a year with no problem. but now, whenever i charge my ipod with an outlet ipod charger, the back side area where the hold switch is, it starts heating up and its incredibly hot i realize that now when i felt it on my bums when i was sleeping. im not sure if its the wall outlet or the chargeri bought it in korea, when i had the chance or maye something is wrong with my ipod itself. can someone help me?

hrmmm... i have kinda the same problem but the iPod i have doesnt charge from the ipod charger and it gets really hot. But I was able to put it into disk mode and charge it from there. But your problem could be the Ipod itself. try to either charging it with the computer USB cord, or change your outlet that you use. But there could also be the possibility that there is alot of data in it so there would be more energy used, however if thats the case, you cant do anything about that but delete and free up space on your ipod. Or the alternative, buy a new iPod. I hope this helps. Btw, if its not too much can you please nominate this as a Best answer please? if not, thats ok too
